I just applied for a 1st shift job (I no longer watch my cousin's baby)
It's 7am-3pm M-F and it's just down the street from where I live. These hours couldn't be any better! My parents would watch Adriana....and best of all, I would be able to quit my afternoon job! I really don't mind the afternoon job, but it's very very part time. The only reason I'd be quitting is to spend time with Adriana. It will be so nice to be home every afternoon. I'm giddy. Shoot me.
I don't want to get my hopes up

Thanks, I need lots of dust.
It sounds promising. The orientation lady is on Vacation this week...but the lady that interviewed me said there will be another one next week, or the week after that. This company doesn't hire anyone, they do ALL their hiring through an employment agency. I went to the company, and they sent me to the agency....in which you need an appointment to fill out an app. Well, there wasn't anyone in there so they let me fill everything out and she interviewed me.
I'm so excited. I kinda miss the full time job....I'm so over being super poor. I'd rather be just a little poor!

Goodluck Mandi! My sister worked in a factory for a few months to make some spending money to take with her to California. It was quite decent pay, more than you get working in a store.

7am-3pm sounds good so you get most of the afternoon and all evening with adriana. Who will watch her while you're at work?

Orientation tomorrow at 2!!

And yes, I will miss granny. She's a feisty old thing, but she grows on ya. I've considered staying through the holidays for some extra money for Christmas....but I don't know. I'm still thinking about it. This is a job I'd like to go back to some day when (if) I don't have to work for money.
