Q: When It Rains...

my poor babies are really ill. Neil had them on Saturday night/Sunday and failed to tell me that he was ill and had been for the last two days. His mum watched over them while he was vomiting and in bed recovering

It is a realy bad virus that gives diahorrea, vomiting and high temperature and makes you delirious.

Last night me and Layla didn't sleep a wink. She was talking to herself not making any sense and I was confused so I went in her room. She started saying to me 'Hello Daddy lets go swimming' and I thought she was dreaming then she went to sit up and vomited everywhere.

I brought her into bed with me and she got bad diahorrea. i tried to settle her down and nurse her to sleep. Then she started getting distressed and asked for her water. I gave her it and she was saying 'that's not my water thats my teddy' and crying.

This went on til 2am and by this time she was burning up with a high temp I gave her medicine and it didn't do anything so i called the emergency doctor to coem to my house. He basically said that the temperature was a good thing cause it was her body fighting infection and that being delirious happens sometimes in small children with a temp.

so he did nothing for her. i spent the rest of the night nursing her til morning. she was so ill and tired this morning to and was still vomiting. somehow we got through the day- then logan got diahorrea. so he's got it now too

i feel like i am going to collapse from exhaustion after not sleeping for 24 hours and looking after a sick child. I'm so dreading tonight. They are asleep now but I am expecting her towake up soon.

And all because Neil didn;t have the brains to tell me he was ill Evil or Very Mad

If he did i would of kept them away til he was better but now my mums going to get it (she was round today) she'll give it to my lil sister, i'm going to get it and robbies probably going to get it when he comes on friday.

sorry this was so long but i'm angry Exclamation

I hope they feel better soon and I hope you get to rest!

I think it's the fever that causes the delirium. It's the brains way of not shutting down. It's very scary though.
