Q: Painful Bump

I have a quarter-size bump less than an inch above my penis. It is very painful and warm to the touch. I have been tested for STD's in the past year, and have only been with my girlfriend of 2 years. What could this be, and how can it get better?

it's in your pubic hair? It could be a severely ingrown hair, or some sort of general skin rash/infection. If it is very painful, go and get it looked at by a doctor. I don't know what it could be, but if there is lots of pain involved, it's not good!
