is heavy bleeding in thick chunks a sign of miscarriage?

This is my first baby so I would not know, is heavy bleeding in thick chunks a sign of miscarriage? It is also a lot darker red and some brown than before and it stinks like it's more rotten and dirty than it should be and it is hardly liquid and before my period was mostly liquid and runny looking but now it is a large bunch of solid cloudy layering.

You should probably call your doctor or go to the ER. Usually a woman who is having a m/c would be bleeding with some fairly severe cramping.
I bled when I was pregnant with my son and had some odd looking stuff too and I delivered a perfectly healthy baby.

I Feel Tearing Down There And Cramping
Posted: 11-07-07 14:55pm

My stomach and my hips are still wider and they are continuing to expand further out on me but I'm afraid that I killed them because of high anxieties and I tried to get a hospital test done but because a doctor did not order it for me, they gave me the test without thinking since they were packed that night but could not run it through the labs for me and now I have more stress because I don't know if I'll have to pay some of the bill or if Medicaid will cover all of it. After a miscarriage, is it common to still have pregnancy signs?

However I Am Not Sure What to Believe Right Now
Posted: 11-07-07 16:44pm

Part of me feels like I don't know if I still have them or if they left me and died but did not bleed out of me yet since those are the two explanations for how low and high I've been doing lately plus I'm still having the symptoms because my hormones and stress are really taking a toll on me. My doubts are a result of fear not because I honestly believe fully that my babies are gone, I just genuinely need some answers.

if you think you're miscarrying, why are you posting away on some forum and not rushing to the hospital?!

though i still think you need to take a pregnancy test to see if you're even pregnant before you let your imagination get the best of you.

I passed many many many chunks of blood when i miscarried. They just fell out of me. I went into the ER with blood from the waste down. Call your doctor.
