Q: Stopped Birth Control Pills, When Is My Period Due?

Hey everyone!

I was only on the pill for about 2 weeks before I stopped ( bad side effects) I had my "period"/ the withdrawal bleeding a day or 2 after I stopped taking the pills for about 4 or 5 days. I was just wondering when to expect my next REAL period. I had my withdrawal bleeding October 14th. Should I expect my period to come (as it normally did before the pill) 30 days after Oct. 14th or will it most likely be a little later or a little earlier. I have a trip out of town soon so I just want to know around when to expect it so I'm not surprised at a bad time on my trip! (like on a hike! Ahhh!)

Thanks in advance! Smile

You weren't on the pill long enough to give the side effects a chance to go away. Doctors advise you try a pill for three months. Obviously if the side effects was migraines that's a different story.

Unfortunately, there is no way to predict when your next period will come. It may be early, it may be on time, or it may be late. Take tampons on your trip!
