Q: What's the risk factor of getting pregnant depro vera shot ?

my boyfiend and i have been having unprotected sex for a little while now. i got the depro vera shot and have been telling him to finish inside me. Following this we ususaly leave it in wait a few minutes and continue having sex. Is depro vera going to protect me agiasnt getting pergnat or do i need to do something different. ( we both have been tested and are clean) what is the risk factor of me getting pregnat because i know i will not get my period so how will i know ?!? IV BEEN GAINING WEIGHT

The risk of becoming pregnant on depo is extremely low.

Don't freak out about gaining weight; that's normal for depo.
I'm shocked you didn't know that weight gain (between 5-20 lbs a year) is completely common on depo... I knew and my doctor told me as well.
