Hypothyroidism - Very Itchy Rash On Hands And Waistline Posted: 11-06-07 23:09pm
I have a rash on my hands (itchy small
blisters – feel like they are deep in
the skin) and on waistline area (no small
blisters; but very itchy). The rash has
appeared in the past and typically stays
for 4 to 8 weeks at a time. I have
hypothyroidism and the doctor recently
increased my dosage of levothyroxine to
.125 mg. Thinking back; the blisters on
my hands appeared before I started taking
the increased dosage - hmmmm. Could this
be the thyroid medicine or my thyroid
condition?
Any suggestions for relieving the itch and
getting rid of the rash? I am very
frustrated from this whole hypothyroidism
thing and getting ready to have a thyroid
mood swing moment. Please save my
wife from this torture .
