Im almost a teen and I have questions. I have dischard and I was told that when that has been going on for about a year your period will happen quite soon. Is this true? I have been having cramps down there and I was told that's also a sign. Is this true? Or is it just theres no predicted time and it happens when it happens?

Not necessarily. I didn't have any discharge before my period first started. There really is no way to predict when your first period will start. Please talk to your mom about this. She should be your first source for your body, since she went through it too!

I had no signs, no cramps, and no discharge. I just started bleeding one day when I was 12. Listen, don't rush the thing either ... hopefully you'll be granted good health ... and then you'll be complaining about how irritating and sometimes painful it is!

Sorry to hear about that. Coming into menstruation is a rite of passage. So, let us know here ... we'll be glad to celebrate with you. Maybe go out and buy a pair of red underwear to wear that day!!! It's actually a huge change!

when your first period is about to start, you find a white discharge in your knickers and you get pains in your stomache and side. My first period is going to start soon as i have all these symptoms, so im a little scared.
Tell you mum before its too late!! even if you're embaressed its important!

I got my period for the first time there last month but this month it hasnt came,i dont think i have lost any weight im naturally skinny but i have been eating well and i havent been stressed or anything. Is it normal when ur younger after your first period to miss a few? please help
