Next time you do this, try not picking them off and see if hair grows out of them. They could just be ingrown hairs from shaving... it's unfortunately a natural result of shaving. Try shaving WITH the grain of the hair. You won't be as smooth, but you'll have less of these skin tags to worry about.

It's a virus and is transmitted whether you have the tags or not. That's why condoms are nice, they allow you not to swap fluids, which lessens the chance of getting it.

But yes, it could be. Mine showed up after I shaved too. Go to the doctor, they can check. If you don't and they seem to spread or you get more of them, then yes it is most likely warts, then you MUST go to the doctor.
