hello i am new to this site. I was in a car accident in may of this year and have been in pain ever since i have gone from doctor to doctor and had every test known to man kind they still are not sure what is wrong but my gp is calling it fribro. now. I have pain in my neck back knees ankles elbows wrists and i have numbness in my hand and legs off and on through out the day. i had a great life before the car accident and now this is the worst thing that i have ever been through i am single mother of 4 with no income now because i was a waitress and was let go due to there concern i can't get unemployment because i am not employable right now and social securtiy is a joke they wont help till i am out of work for a year with a clear diagnosiss. the pain is driving me nuts i am on pain meds steriods anti depresents anti anxiety meds and i still have a hard time gettting through the day. i need to know what works for the pain and what kind of work i can try to do before i end up out on the streets. i am so fustrated and getting so angry that i cant get back to the person i was. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated i will try anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you may want to try a chiropractor. because it started with a car accident im wondering. i was in an accident and i went to a chiro and it went away ---you may want to try it.

thankyou i will call one in the first thing in the morning one more questions how do you explain this disease or what ever it is to family that has no concept and thinks your being a lazy baby? I just got into a huge fight with my father over this.

unfortunately there isnt really a way to. sometimes a person that has it is the only one that will understand. i got the same thing. dont for a second beleive them. dont let any one tell you that its in your head. thinking about it can make it worse but its real

thank you very much i am so tierd of every one thinking i am a baby and my dad saying "wa wa wa wa suck it up" i am going to see a chiropractor on monday morning and see if there is any hope there.

well it could also be that he doesnt want to admit that there could be something wrong with his baby. my mom was like that. let us know how it goes.
