I recently had back surgery and 3 months later , i am still experiencing a higher level of back/both leg pain(symptoms before the surgery were back/right leg pain).
Any thoughts on this?

Reason for pain can be in pelvis, ilium upslip and rotated sacrum causin pressure to nerves. In 80% of back pain patients doctors don't find a cause because they only check their spine. And even if they see something wrong in spine it doesn't mean that is causing pain because pain can not be seen. Many people have disc degeneration, prolapsy, herniated discs but still they are without pain.

Back/leg Pain
Thanks for the response:
During my surgery in 6/07, there was a significant amount of calcified build up around one on the disk. This was removed, I have a feeling the calcium may have returned. I just completed another MRI, Cat Scan. I am also scheduled to do a nerve test. What sort of testing did you do, did you have any kind of surgery and what were your results

You should ask them where that calcium (calcified) comes from and why. Something is causing it. Its not coming without a reason! It is useless to just remove it if the cause is left remaining.

I did not have surgery but joint manipulation. I had ilium upslip that caused torsion to my spine causing extended lordosis and scoliosis to spine. Also because of asymmetrical pelvis my lumbrar spine was hypermobile and caused stress to my muscles and they caused nerve compression and pain: sciactica, leg weakness, heel pain, etc. Also many other problems too to my upper body. I suffered those pains over 10 years and went many places and saw many experts to find what was wrong with me. They didn't know... but finally I was lucky to find an expert who diagnosed and corrected my ilium uplsip. It is most common disorder in people.
