Hello, I have aquestion I am really hoping someone can answer.
I find that when I laugh, or cry , or talk to long periods of time, i tend to start coughing alot and in doing so I easily lose my breath. I find myself gasping for breath and I was wondering if you think it could be an allergy?
It doesn't seem to matter where I am; home, work, shopping, outside... if i do those things i lose my breath.

I had pleurisy 2 years ago and ever since then I have found this happens. the right side of my chest hurts when i cough.

I've been taking Allegra D for over 3 weeks and i have not seen any difference. do you think this could be an allergy?
Thankyou so much for your help and time:)

Extremely eHealthy
Are you experiencing shortness of breath with exertion and noisy breathing?
Do you choke or cough when swallowing food, drink, or even saliva?
Do you find your voice changed?

Keep a Peak, Flow Diary 2 Times a Day Am/pm
Hello , i hope that u are keeping a medical diary, peak flows, exercise, triggers, stress, if not start now! they will help. you seek out respitory specialist, if not better go to the hospital.. you know how your lungs felt while ill, if they feel the same or different you should seek help. Talking and laughing are the one things the doctors don't want you to do as it tires you and can cause an attack.. So be careful, and take al look around your bedroom and see if it is a really sterile envioronment, no fancy stuff, bed, lamps, bedding and the extra'sSmile and a hepa filter and have a "clean" place to heal, no animals and dust, commit and u should get better, but be pro-active! god bless ww
