I had an abortion a lil over a month ago. Ive read upon multiple websites that spotting is normal however that it should only last up to two weeks after an abortion. Well its been almost over a month and Im still lightly spotting.....is this normal. My last abortion I had was nothing like this one and I didnt spot on the previous one at all but I was far more along than this one. Please help........a lil worried!

First if your worried about that you should maybe see your doctor to make sure every things ok. Second everyone is entitled to do as they please with their body but as the other person said 2 abortions! girl you need to think of the person inside of you insted of yourself. If you cant do that then quit having sex or use better or more protection. sorry for judging yo but kids are a gift and its not their fault their mother is such a health question she dont know how to protect her self.
Just in case you was raped im sorry or if something was not right with the baby or it wasnt alive i am sorry for what i said.
I am not for abortions.

Ladies, this forum is for support only. If you want to debate abortion, do it in the abortion debate forum. This woman does not need to explain herself to anybody here.

To the original poster: I think you should contact your doctor for an exam to make sure everything's okay.

Your feeling are irrelevant here. Go post them in Abortion Debate. This is not the appropriate place to tell a woman she's wrong for having an abortion.

Just for everyone information, a woman can have as many abortions as she wants. It is her body and if an unwanted pregnancy happens more than once (or pregnancy complications occur) then she has the right to abort more than once. Whether this is once or five times or ten, it doesn't matter.

I have had 3 abortions, and I work in an abortion clinic...

SPOTTING IS NORMAL up to 3-4 weeks after an abortion, as long as it is ONLY spotting.

ALSO, the birth control that some women use after an abortion can cause this spotting, because your body is adjusting to the hormones.

You can have as many abortions as you want/can pay for.

spotting after 4 weeks of abortion
I had the surgical abortion on the 11th of August, and i had virtually no bleeding/cramping at all after the procedure. 3 days later, i began cramping, bleeding (bright red blood), and passing small clots. 5 days back it stoped.i had sex last night and it started bleeding again today(spotting only). Is this normal? and how long do you think the bleeding will last?
