Is My Girlfriend Pregnant? Condom Broke Posted: 11-05-07 21:28pm
Me and my girlfriend had protected sex in
the middle of October and unfortunitley
the condom broke. She was on bc before
October but she messed up her cycle so she
had to be off it the month of october.
She was supposed to get her period on the
28th of October she did not. So we tried
some pregnancy tests. The first one was 2
days before the missed period and it was
negative, the second test was 3 days after
her missed period and it was also
negative. She still has not started her
period yet and she now has developed
certain signs, like feeling sick every so
often and being tired, along with others.
I've read numerous articles about how it
could be from coming off bc or a million
other things. But i'm wondering what all
of you think?

im not very experienced at this but i have
been reading the forums and ive been told
that these are not sighs of pregnancy. you
can't have signs so early and if she is
stressing then that could be the reason
for her not having her period or it being
delayed. it is probably just coming off
the bc. if she has missed her period
already and she has taken a test and the
test said negative chances are she's
probably not pregnant

Being tired and sick can be symptoms of
anything, such as being stressed. Maybe
being so worried about being pregnant is
stressing her out and making her feel that
way. If she tested three days after her
missed period and it is negative, she is
probably not pregnant. If she stopped
taking her birth control pills early, that
probably caused her to change her cycle
and bleed early when she stopped taking
them. That could potentially mess up her
cycle and when she is supposed to be
expecting her period. I would continue to
use condoms and protection until she is
back on birth control. If she still
doesn't get her period, I would take a
test once more in a few days to a week to
make sure, but I wouldn't worry too much.

ok so she took another test today, 9 days
after her missed period and it came out
negative again but she still has not
started her period. Do all of you think
it's safe to say she's not pregnant?

I think she is not pregnant. I think what
she is experiencing is her body on the
lack of Birth Control hormones. This
happens quite often when people stop
taking the pill.
If taking the pill is too difficult to
remember, she could find a different form
of birth control for her lifestyle.
