i`m 17, i turn 18 in January next year....i honestly dont know how far down i am, but i doubt im more than a month. i`m sooo scared ryt now because i dont even know what to do at this point...i feel so lost right now...apart of me wants to keep it, but the other part doesnt. my boyfriend has been nothing but supportive of me & i love him sooo much for that....he doesnt want to abort this baby & i understand his part on that...he's willing to work two jobs & do everything that he can jus to raise this baby. i guess what`s really holding me back ryt now is the fact that i dont know how my parents are going to react, most especially my mom & my older sister. i had soo much going for me, i had so many plans & i dont want to throw it all away just lyk that, but then again i made that decision to do what i did, and now this is the consequences i get for it. i don't want to abort this baby, but i just dont know what to do. i dont have anyone to talk to, anyone to help me get thru this, so if anyone could jus please give me some advice on what to do, then i would greatly appreciate that. thank you

If your worried about your parents....they will yell scream and prolly call you ever name in that book...but if you can get through that then eventually they will get over it. It's going to be hard work, but like you said thats the consequence of sleeping together.

Have you already missed your preiod..??

Did you take a home pregnancy test..??

Just to let you know you do not have to throw out all of your plans, you just have to figure out a different way to get achieve them. If you are pregnant your baby will now come first in your life but I know too many people that have had children young and still completed college and can afford a good size house. and this was a single parent. You can do but it's going to take a lil bit more work. No i'm not a parent but my mother and my aunties are the people that i am talking about

I was in your situation. I didn't think twice. I had an abortion, finished college, got a fun career, met my husband, got married, and now we have a little girl.

I wouldn't change a thing.

But that's me.

You don't have tp stop all your plans, i've applied to go to college next year when my daughter will be 14 months old and she'll stay in the college nursery while i'm in class

getting an abortion would be killing your own flesh and blood. If you dont want to have kids dont have unprotected sex. and if you made a mistake then find away to still have a good life with you and your child

An early abortion involves an embryo which has no flesh and blood yet.

People do not have sex just to get pregnant. In fact, the vast majority of times people have sex, there is no pregnancy. Now, if you were to say, if you don't want a baby you should use birth control, then I agree with you.

61% of women having an abortion already have a child or children.
Married women also have abortions.

this is a teen pregnancy support forum. if you'd like to discuss abortion, there are separate forums for that.

Zaaaraahh, have you been under a lot of stress with school and stuff? A lot of things can affect ovulation (likes stress, illness, lack of sleep, change in diet, whatever) and that can really throw off your period.

If you've got a negative test, try taking another one and popping into the doctor for a blood test. If all of that is negative, stop worrying and be more careful next time.

While you're at the doctor please discuss more reliable forms of birth control, there's a lot out there!

Good luck!

That's not helpful, if you wish to share your opinions then go to the abortion debate forum. Rolling Eyes

To the OP I appreciate you're scared but you do not need to rush to make any decision, you do have time. firstly you need to know if you are actually pregnant so have the test done and look at your options from there

Yes youre parents most likely will be pissssseddd and deman to know what you plan of action is. They may not even be supportive. However it will ultimately be your decision whether you deal with pressure from them or not..

You will NOT have to throw your "plans" away. You will just have to work harder.

It's one thing to have gotten into this predicament by mistake, but another one entirely to do it on purpose.

She didn't say anything about it being on purpose though.

Which she do you mean? I was answering and referring to mzLiLi. Next time I'll be more specific.

As far as telling your parents, telling them that you made a mistake and got pregnant is a lot different than telling them you got pregnant on purpose.
