Hey you guys.

Thanks for everybody's concern.

We're doing okay.

I took him to the Express Care place this morning around 11:30. Waited a half hour, & they finally told us they couldn't see him, & that we'd have to take him to the ER. So, I did. We were in the ER from noon until like, 7 or 8ish. He's had x-rays, breathing treatments, & lots of medications. He has croupe, or however you spell it. Where your windpipe is inflamed & it's super hard to breathe. It's a viral infection, & he'll be just fine. Chris is up there with him right now, he's sleeping in a weird humidifier thing. I came home to try & relax. Maybe get something to eat. I'm going back up before too long.

It's just very stressful.

This weekend has been hell.

Really sorry to hear about gabe. I hope everything turns out ok. I know it's tough having really sick kids, and on top of it what happened with you, and your ex. Get some rest, and they will take good care of your little man! Smile

I am sorry sweetie. My brother had that when he was younger. He is fine now and that was over 24 years ago. Medical treatments are far better than they were then.

I used to get croup frequently as a kid. It can be an indicator that your child will become asthmatic but not necessarily so. My mum used to sit me in the kitchen next to a boiling kettle so the steam would clear my chest - it always worked!

It's very scary but I'm sure Gabe will be fine, don't panic yourself too much (easier said than done I know).

My nephew was a little sickly when he was a baby. He had that a time or two. We always had bowls of steam on every available surface in his room.

I'm sorry that gabe is sick, krissy! I hope that he and you feel better soon. Get some rest, hon. We're here for you!
