What if you do not bleed while taking your sugar pills? I have taken all 7 and still no period. I most of the time take the pills right but normally i forget and skip them. Could I be pregnant?

There is a small chance that you could be. You could take a hpt in a few days and get an accurate result. Any time you miss a birth control pill and don't take two the very next day, you should use protection until you finish the pack and have your period because it increases the chance that an egg will be released from your ovary.

Good luck hun. No matter what, it'll be okay.

Should the sugar pills automatically make your body have your period or does it just depend

Normally they allow you to automatically have a "period", but you could have any number of other complications that might make you not have a period during your sugar pill week. Unfortunately, I don't know much about them myself. Can you call your doctor or a planned parenthood and ask? I'm sure they wouldn't mind telling you reasons why this may happen.

If this is only your first month on the pills than I think it's fine for things to be a little off, however, if this was only your first month than you should have been advised to use back up birth control until you finish up the first pack.

DURING your placebo week, if you were pregannt and missed a period, your pregnancy test WOULD BE ACCURATE.

If you only miss one pill, you do not need protection for the entire pack.

If you only miss one pill, you need to take it as soon as you remember, even if that means two pills in one day.

No protection is needed unless you miss 2 pills

Especially if you've been skipping the placebo week in past months, it's not surprising that you don't have a period this time.
