It hasn't stopped I'm not exactly sure what's wrong. Your period shouldn't stop for that long! It is not normal! Have you had intercourse? You really should set up a doctor's oppointment!

Stress can cause your periods to be irregular, however its still something that should be discussed with a doctor just to be safe.

Have you lost a lot of weight recently? If you go under a certain weight your periods will stop.... and wont come back until you put weight back on.... Some times they never come back if you have been very underweight for a long time

Hi
I haven't had a period for 3 months. The last time that I had a period was in Aug. and I bleed for a month. So what did the doctors say was wrong with you?

If you miss a period for three months you should schedule a gynecological appointment as soon as possible as this is often a sign of something more serious.

I am on the same page as you. When I first started having my period around age 15, they were fairly regular. I'm now 19 and have gone from having a period non stop for almost a whole summer to not having a period for a whole year!
My mom tells me it's most likely genetic, but I beg to differ.
I guess i'll have to start taking action...i never realized how big of a problem this could actually be...
