that was actually his first taste of cake ever! i couldn't believe he actually ate the entire piece i gave him.

yup, he gets the rest of his presents tomorrow at my parents'. today he got that playmobil 123 thing in the picture, a thing nick got him that i can't describe, and a really cute set of playskool wheel pals trucks. tomorrow he gets 2 books, 2 more playmobil 123 farm things, a kettler trike, and whatever my parents give him (i already know they got him the fisher-price laugh and learn kitchen).

we think he's teething and he's been on a napping strike for days now, so he was actually quite beastly all day. i really hope he's happier tomorrow, though i'm working all day so if he's not at least i won't have to deal with it.

She doesn't know what to do with food.. I give her pieces of food to hold, or put it on her tray in front of her, & she just throws it on the floor. She likes cake (most sweet things actually) but I'll have to put the pieces in her mouth.

Cute pictures! Ava's getting the laugh and learn kitchen too. Jesse and I bought her seperate gifts and that's what he chose. It looks like he had a really great birthday!
