Why Is Cheese Bad for Hypoglycemics ?

I use to eat lots of it because it seemed to really help but, now that I am pregnant... I can not tolerate any! Would just like to hear your thoughts on cheese. You seem to have a good idea of what works and why.

Also, do you have any posts where you have written a safe list of foods that CAN be eaten?

sorry one more question: Is wild rice ok?
Thanks, V

If you can tolerate it, yes. Everyone has always asked for a safe list of foods, but I don't know why. A restricted list is shorter, otherwise I'd have to list pretty much every food on the planet other than those I say not to eat. Have you read my new diet version? That's all you need to know. What kind of cheese have you been eating?

I was eating just American mozzarella and could pretty much tolerate any kind of cheese at that time, before I was pregnant, with the exception of any processed cheeses that had stuff added to them like fake gouda and such.

It now just turns my stomach real bad but, not sure if it gives me hypo problems.. I haven't tested enough to see. What are your thoughts on wild rice? I have read your 'Stan's version 8' just yesterday again. Is that the one you mean? Thanks

No, that's the bad one. It's on here, the post just says something like diet final version or something, avoid number 8. Hmmm, well, in your case raw cheese might be better, but it's not easy to find and fairly expensive. How much are you eating and are you only eating it alone?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant I was eating regular american mozza cheese from say safeway or such.. but had to be careful with cheeses that had alot of other things added to them like the fake gouda for example. I am not sure what is added to the regular american mozzarella you would buy in a local grocery store, I didn't think it had anything added but I guess it is processed.

anyway I was eating it in little bits all day long... more in the morning though I would go through an average long block in about 6 days. That was the only thing then that would give me relief and normal feeling but I had to keep eating it because nothing else could replace it. I was also eating all wrong with other things at that time too so I was very up and down and felt like I was in constant need of it with stone wheat thin crackers as well.
I will read your new version. Thank you
