I recently quit taking my birth control, and I have missed two periods. I took an hpt around the first missed period, another two weeks after, and one just recently....I know...overkill. They have all come up negative, but I have never been pregnant before so I am kinda worried. Any help would be awesome....thank you!

Go in and have the dr do a blood test. For some pregnancies it doesn't show up on home tests. I know someone who ended up being pregnant by like 10 weeks by the time they figured it out, the dr thought she had mano (sp?) Are you trying to get pregnant? Is that why you stopped taking Bc?

No I'm not trying to get pregnant. In fact this would be the worst thing to happen right now. Sad Thank you for your advice. I will go in I planned on doing that soon. Not trying to pry, but how did they think it was mano? I don't know the symptoms.

If you just quit your birth control, it's perfectly normal that you aren't getting periods yet. That just happens sometimes. I'd say three tests are accurate enough. Have you had unprotected sex since you stopped the bc?

DO not have unprotected sex unless you WANT to get pregnant.

If you stop taking your pill and you have unprotected sex, then you are ASKING to get pregnant, know what I mean?

Sex wihtout birh control causes pregnancy.

I work in an abortion clinic, and so many women do not know that you can get pregannt wihtin DAYS of stopping birth control.

Not really sure why they thought she had that I didn't know her at the time just know it happened. Just be careful and use protection if a baby is not what you want right now.

Hey I was also on birth control and stopped and it took my body 3 month to get to normal, I went to the doctor and she said its very normal, now if you dont want a baby I suggest you get back on birth control because you can come out pregnant at anytime from the moment you stopped taking it.
