Q: Depression + Bulimia + Anorexia Seems to Be Getting Worse

My best friend suffers from depression and bulimia - and in the last few weeks has become anorexic again. About a year ago she finally beat it after struggling with it for 3 years, but now it seems to have come back. We talk about it openly and she has no problem admitting she has it, and she wants to stop more than anything. Its involuntary as far as i know, even after eating a little bit she gets nauseous and has to throw up. She hates food, but she knows she has to eat. The problem is she is terrified of throwing up so it has been a challenge getting her to eat anything at all. Is there anything I can do? I've been trying to do all I can but she can't stop it, and I want to be able to do more. Does anyone have any suggestions? I could use any advice anyone has - I need help with this.

Hi, welcome to this forum.
I suffered from bulimia and one thing that kept me from throwing up was walking after the meals . That made me feel better and not so full. Have you tried that with your friend?
