About two years ago I was diagnosed with having severe migraines. They come and go, and only really act up when I am in a stressful environment for long periods of time. For the last six or so months I have been migraine free up until three weeks ago when I started getting a migraine. (mine is usually behind my right eye and I cannot stand light or sound). So I have been taking motron for it because it wasnt very bad. Anyway, today it got very bad for about a half an hour and then all of a sudden the pressure, pain, everything went away and it was a huge relief, until i started feeling a dripping from my nose, and im like that's weird and I look down and my hand is covered in blood. Blood was just pouring out of my nose for about 15 minutes and then it finally stopped.

But right now, I am still very worried and I am making an appointment with my physician but is there anything anyone can tell me as to what this might be?

Thank you for reading and any suggestions.

-M.

Was the bleeding coming from both nostrils?
Did you experienced more intensive headache after bleeding?
What was the intensity of headache before bleeding?
Do you suffer from high blood pressure?

Some Migraineurs have reported nose bleeds with Migraines, and this is also from their blood pressure raising because of the Migraine.

Please see your doctor!
Nose bleeding with headache require prompt medical attention.

-No the bleeding was coming from the left nostril (the pain was on the right side).
-Not quite, it wasn't as bad, but it still hurt.
-On a scale of 1 to 10, about a 9.8
-No I do not suffer from high blood pressure, in fact i took mine right afterwards I believe it was 108 / 69 and my pulse was 63. Which its always been low so I'm not sure if that is cause for concern either.

I plan on seeing the Doctor today, if I can't get in with my GP then I plan on going to the E.R.

Thank you though for your help.
