Wouldn't sitting for a long period of time include being in a wheelchair or theater seat? You said she said to lay down and prop your feet up.

That's absolutely right. You could be there but would probably be stuck in a waiting room with no sleep. Your daughter is more important than the mall. I knew a child here that was born at 36 weeks and still had serious respiratory problems. All babies develop at different rates. It's just best for the baby to stay in as long as she can and for you to do everything possible to keep it there.

A movie's at least an hour and a half... if you got there early that could easily bump it to two, not to mention however long you'd spend in the wheelchair shopping for lotion and christmas presents. I doubt it'd be a half hour thing. Add two hours for shopping and maybe a half hour to get there, and what do you have?

4 and a half hours.

I want pictures, Michelle!

Suzy, if your doctor told you to rest, then that's what you should do. Period. Going to the mall is not resting. I'm glad that everyone explained to you the dangers in not following your doctor's orders. Premature labor is very serious and can have lifelong effects on your child.

ok, i knowww you dont want to hear this...but guess what...

u arent entitled to those mall trips, saturday movies, trick or treating, and socializing anymore.

that was a choice you made when you got pregnant.

Its time you get your priorities in line and stop being materialistic and selfish.. having the first thing come to ur mind be trick or treating or going to the mall or movies because you *just cant let go of that teenager mentality* just doesnt and CANT cut it anymore. No more designer purses, no more trips to the mall.. no more acting like a child, because a child cannot raise a child.

If you didnt want to have to give up being a child, you shouldnt have taken it upon yourself to create on of your own. Now its time to learn how to set an example.

i love u like a little sister, Suzy, and this is why i tell u these things. If i didnt care i would keep my mouth shut. As would all the other girls who are giving u advice like Laura and Mandi.

We tell you these things because we care, not because we want to rag on you or make u feel bad. WE HAVE BEEN THERE.. we know what we are talking about. ^_^

**edited to add I HOPE U SLEPT WELL MISH!!!**
