I am 31 years old and got shingles a few months ago. Should I be concerned about my immune system?

Extremely eHealthy

I really don't think so, but ask a doctor to be sure. Shingles is a virus just like herpies simplex (in the same family) and to the best of my knowledge is not caused by an immune system deficiency.

I have just been diagnosed with shingles. I am a 58 year old woman..Is it okay for me to be around children ages five and six?
