I hope this is the category since it occurs on the skin. My mom periodically finds these pretty deep cuts, on her left leg when she wakes up in the mornings and doesn't know how she gets them. They aren't there before she goes to sleep, but she wakes up with two or three separate cuts. They are usually long and look as if she got cut on a piece of wire. We have looked all around her bed and surrounding areas, but see no sources. We have also recently moved to a new house, but she still gets them. She thought maybe she scratched her leg with her toes on the other foot, but after cutting her toe nails to a really low point, she still got them. They also have recently appeared on her other leg.

Does anybody happen to know about this? Has this happened to anyone else?
