Q: Sick While On the Pill (microgynon 30) -does It Still Work?!

I am on microgynon 30 and have taken it as directed (usually early morning) but i was sick around 2am last night. i still took today's pill, but i am concerned that yesterday's would not have been effective because i was sick (although it was around 19 hours after i took it).

Do i need emergency contraception, or is it likely that the pills are/were not affected?

Especially eHealthy

You were fine. It takes your body a few hours to absorb the pill; about 3-5. Any time after that, you're fine.

Ok I took the same pill around 10am this morning. At about 5.30pm I slept with my lng term boyfriend without a condom, as we usually do (but havent in a few days). Between the hours of 7.45pm and 9pm I threw up (we were n a film I didnt cathc the time). Am I ok, or do I need to hang off the sex a while and go see my ctor? I'm planning on getting the morning after pill tomoz anyway just to be safe (or is this a no no?)
