Venting. (Page 1)

Okay, I'm about to sound like the worlds worst mother but I just need to vent. (( I'm pmsing & just all around miserable tonight. )) I've been so frustrated with Kaylee all day today. Do you guys ever get so frustrated with your little ones that you just don't want to be around them!? I hope to god I'm not the only one. It started this morning, she usually wakes up all happy & sits in her crib for a while & plays. This gives me a few minutes to wake up as well so I can function. Well this morning all she did was whine & it was the most annoying whine. All of this after she woke up in the middle of the night & I rocked her for 2 hours until she finally fell back to sleep because she was fighting her sleep. Then, everytime I tried feeding her today, she'd throw all the food on the floor or bat the spoon/fork & once even the whole bowl of food out of my hand. It's getting to the point where I actually dread having to feed her because it's a horrible time when I do! All she did all day long was whine & want me to hold her & walk around with her. She was fine playing for a little while today so I did some dishes real quick but as soon as she sees me sitting down for a second she's right there at my feet whining. I was for the first time really looking forward to her going to bed tonight & then .. even that was a fight. Today has just been an all around bad day I guess. It doesn't help anything that my period is due any minute now so I'm getting irritated over every little thing. I feel sorry for Shane because 99% of the time I take everything out on him but I feel that when he's off for the few days in between working (He works 3 days nights, 3 days off, 2 days nights, 2 days off, etc) that he should help a little bit more around here. Not so much with housework but with Kaylee in general. It takes me getting so frustrated that I actually walk out of the house for him to step up & try calming Kaylee down. Then when I say something to him about it all he says is "Well you should have told me you wanted me to take her".. Or something along those lines. I was in tears tonight trying to get Kaylee to bed. I feel awful for even feeling this frustrated toward her. I love my little girl to pieces, most of you girls on here know me well enough to know that & Shane, we're doing better than ever, I just wish he'd start picking up hints when I need a 5 minute break or so. If I'm not the only one who's ever got this frustrated with their little ones (& I hope I'm not because then I'll feel worse), what do you guys do to calm yourselves down?? I probably sound ridiculous but even after typing all of this out I'm feeling a little better Sorry if this is long..
