But then the 'Abortion DEBATE' forum would be useless. And we'd be bored. D:

The pro-choice side does this already, and we would be very happy to work with the pro-life side on this.

Yeah, we're pro-choice, not pro-abortion.

I would love for there to be better sex education as well as easier access to contraception and sterilization procedures. But since sex is evil, all we have to do is not teach people about it and only teach abstinence and then pretend no one will have sex. That's the current belief. Teens need to be taught how to protect themselves, and doctors need to pull their heads out of their a**es and stop ignoring men and women who seek sterilization because 'oh, you'll chaaaaaange your miiiiind'. This would make the abortion rate go down - maybe not a huge amount, but some.

But, you know, birth control and tubals aren't god's will, so they're evil and all women in the world should just accept their biology and have children no matter what (but IVF is god's will, dontcha know!). So I don't see any of what I previously mentioned ever becoming a reality because the majority of people in this country are dumber than a bag of hammers.

People might be surprised to learn that it is the pro-life crowd who is interfering with sex education.

If you don't believe that people are woefully ignorant about sex and contraception, just take a look at some of the other forums on ehealth.
