Nuva Ring Allergic Reaction (Page 2)

I hate the ring now. I was on it a couple yrs ago and all went fine. Got on it again about 2 months ago. The first month I spotted pretty much the whole time...miserable! Into the second month itching, swelling, burning after sex started. I thought that it was some sort of infection, so I got some antibiotics. They did nothing! I've decided now that the common problem here seems to be this damn ring! I've taken it out now...SO not worth being miserable everyday!

It seems as if no doctor wants to take the nuva ring into consideration as being the problem. I believe it is though! On the Nuva ring for 4 years and the burning and swelling occurs even when taken out! I've cried my eyes out after and during sec and pretty much started to dread it. Depo caused me to gain 30lbs in 3 months and the patch broke me out and caused scabs where it was placed
Wish I was able to find an easy to remember contraceptive that didn't cause problems.
