okay so we have got it all figured out lol

the points sytem in texas only applies to drivers 18 yrs or older
so thats not why he has to go to court
apparently in lakeway if you are under 18 you have to appear in court with a guardian to pay your fine
but he can take defensive driving which is wayy cheaper
and hes got 3 months to complete it so thats what hes going to do!

you just buy the DVD at blockbuster and he watches it in sections then has to go register for the test
so i hope he passes
if he doesnt then he has to pay the full ticket fine

That's good. It'll be initiative to NOT fail the test since he may end up paying more in the long run.
