I am 15 years old. I think I may be pregnant. I have a lot of the symptoms but i don't want to take a test cause i don't want to know if I am for sure or not. I went to the health center and they said it would be good for me to take one but I really don't want to. I am also a softball player. I play every weekend. It is rough and I am a shortstop. I have to do a lot of diving. Could this effect a lot?! Does anyone know a good way to tell parents?!

hun if you think you are pregnant you NEED to take a test
b/c if you are you will need to see a dr. and go over your options...
worry about if you are pregnant first and then go from there on how to
tell your parents...

Yes, softball can affect a pregnancy if it is rough physical activity.

As others have said, you need to go buy a test. I know how scary it is because I've had pregnancy scares too. Please, I'm begging you to go buy one; it will end your worry Smile

If you have been having unprotected sex then you could be pregnant.

blondie_e, if you had a "scare", I'm guessing you don't want to be pregnant. Why are you on these forums, then?

Why am I on these forums? I'm not pregnant or trying.

I am however a 22 year old woman with good unbiased (usually) advice for people about pregnancy, biology and birth control.

I know, Eiri. Smile But you're not trying to stir things up and aren't calling people names. She is. It just bothers me.

Take a test. It is the best way to know. Then you can stop wondering whether you are or not. Knowing what you are facing is a lot easier than not knowing.

As far as telling your parents...the best way is to just tell them. It won't be easy. You are their little girl. But you will need all the emotional support they can offer.

Good luck.
