Q: Cant Get Hard or Maintain an Erection caused by Jerking Off?

I am 17 years old . I CAN get an errection but it has become so hard to get an errection when im with my gf that she gets tired of waiting, and once I do get an errection, I can't maintain it. To get an errection, I have to really concentrate- even if shes naked ontop of me on my bed I cant get it up! However, when we have phone sex I get an errection no porblem. I have been jerking off everyday, around twice a day since I was 12 (recently I slowed it down to every other day), can this be the cause of the problem? Shes the girl I lost my virginity to, about 4 months ago (and it was easier to get an errection then).

I am not fat, I weigh 130 and im about 5' 11"- don't know if that helps. I once took Horny Goat Weed (which I bought at Krauserz) and it got me hard as a rock! However, I bought a bottle of it from Vitamin Shoppe and it doesn't do anything to me now. I have been taking Korean Gingseng for about a month (no change), and I just purchased Steel-Libido today, hoping it will work. Any advice? thanks! =(

I faced erection problems for the past couple of years and I'm only 24. I could only achieve them while sitting down and everyone kept telling me that it was all in my head. I had problems with girls when we would get intimate and that only worsened the problem. The bottom line is that now I am completely fine with no problems because it was all in my head, which i can almost guarantee you that your problem is completely in your head even though you think it's not. You have anxiety about it when with your girlfriend, that was my problem. Since it's happened once you're thinking about it and you expect it to happen again, that was my problem as well. If you wake up with morning erections and you are able to have erections, I can almost guarantee you that the problem lies in your brain. It's an anxiety issue and it's tough to deal with. Just pray to the good man upstairs and mean it when you say you want this burden off your chest. It worked for me and im 100 percent now

Hey

try cutting back on the masturbation... don't do it for a week or two and when you are gonna have sex with your girlfriend you'll probably surprise her. Give it a shot.

when me and my girlfriend are fooling around i can always get an erection with no problem. she knows that too obviously. She doesnt do foreplay all that much and she just wants to get down and screw. which i dont mind. I can get hard and then when i try to put it in i just cant for some reason it just wont go in and trust me im trying and then i lose my erection and it is hard for me to get back up. or ill be hard and then when it comes to the time when we want to have sex i lose it. I am a virgin by the way but she is not she has had two partners before me. we havent been going out for too long but we are vey close and really do love each other very much. Can somebody please help me solve my dellema!!!

Hey man I was just reading this cause I've got the same problem and it may be weird and not the same but I'm only 13 and the first time I fingered by girlfriend which was only a couple days ago... it felt good at the moment but after... I couldn't get hard unless I really tried but if I tried using thoughts, I absolutely couldn't but then I read this and all the comments and I went back and read all of mine and her texts that were about that day when we got really into it and I put everything in my mind away and read them and I actually got hard and to the point ofmasturbaiting... So I may just be a kid...but I would really try just clearing your mind about it and just go with everything. It really helps... Hope I didn't sound too stupid...

my fiance and i are having the same problem... we have been together for 7 months... we have been having sex just fine but the day before yesterday we had sex 3x and everything was good yesterday on my birthday we could not have sex he could not stay hard for anything... i tried the outfit... tried foreplay.. tried oral... tried kissin on him.... nothing will work!!! and remind u we have been having sex for a while now and this has never happened!!! i even told him to watch porn and he has even tried jacking off and it is not working!!! do u have any suggestions?

If you're able to become erect reliably to masturbate, especially if you can have phone sex with someone without erectile problems but in person you have severe difficulty then your problem is anxiety related.

This is absolutely normal for someone who lost their virginity later in life and very recently. If this doesn't show improvement over the next few months talk with a psychologist about this.
