Ive been on microgestin 1.5/30 for at least a year now, and i love it. but it seems like on the placebo week, i get very sad. almost depressed. i switched to this pills from ortho tri low, because those pills made me change personalities week to week. on microgestin, im pretty emotionally stable except for the placebo week. is this normal?

It sounds like it's due to withdraw symptoms. During the placebo week you're not receiving any hormones so it's possible your body/mind is reacting to this.
