Q: Trick Or Treating

Neil is bugging me to take the kids trick or treating but the people round this area are so ignorant and I don't think they would answer their doors.

I mean they don't know any different yet they are still really young...

Logan hasn't got an outfit to wear either. Only Layla has

What do you think?

I think it'd be cute for them to dress up, but if you think most people wouldn't even answer the door then maybe trick or treating wouldn't be worth the hassle. Even round here some miserable people ignore trick or treaters or say "no thank you" to you.. & I live in the countryside, in a really nice area.

If they do dress up, make sure you take pics & post them! Jenny's going to nursery dressed up in her witch costume tomorrow & all the babies are having their pictures taken.. it's going to be so cute =)

Layla has a party too in the morning. From 9-12 so she will be dressed up.

I miss trick-or-treating. People aren't even going to come to our apartment because it's around the side of the building and upstairs. We did kind of get in the spirit by buying a green lightbulb and using i as our porch light, though! It looks cool.

They should at least dress up and you can have your own little party Very Happy

People are like that there?

I'm taking Rowan out until about 7ish but then I'm dropping her off to go out and celebrate myself, haha, Halloween is still my favourite too.

Maybe dress them up and take them to the store to pick a candy each, or carve a pumpkin with them. If other people are crumby then make your own fun.

tanya, what is rowan going to be?

becks, i'd dress them up just for the fun of it. i agree with tanya, carve a pumpkin!

i wish i could take finn trick-or-treating because i want free candy! we're just taking him to the big halloween parade downtown. it doesn't start until 7 and it's going to be cold, so i hope he's ok.

I totally agree with Tanya. Do your own thing! Make your own tradition Smile

With my daughter, we've never gone hog wild with the trick or treating. But we do go along our street, then we make it part of the fun that we come home and hand out candy to other kids who come to our door.

I always dress up funky too. Tomorrow my daughter is going as a vampire so I am going as the 'victim' with a vampire bite on my neck and a pale complection Smile

She's got a dinosaur costume but she absolutely refuses to wear the hood, and that makes the whole costume!! Me and Nathan went to a Halloween party on the weekend (dressing up is sooo fun!). I won't tell you guys what we were though, but I'll post pictures maybe. What is Finn being or is it a secret?

I keep trying to use imagecave and I will pick out all my pictures and then choose "upload" and then it takes me to a page that says "internet explorer can't open this page" yadda yadda, and villagephotos has been doing that to me too. It's happened like 5 times now and I got so fed up and gave up haha.
