Skipped Placebos For One Month-now Period Isn't Starting? Posted: 10-30-07 13:39pm


Ok, I skipped my placebos on my birth control pack last month, and now I'm on my new pack of pills and I'm currently taking the placebos. I started taking them Saturday and it's Tuesday and my period hasn't started yet. Should I be worried about pregnancy? I've never skipped the placebos before, and my period almost always starts on my 2nd or 3rd placebo pill. Any help? By the way, I take a low-dosage hormone birth control.

It's possible that skipping the last time would mess up your cycle. Usually if you miss two periods, they suggest you take a pregnancy test, but since you purposely skipped one I wouldn't be concerned. Wait a little longer and see what happens
