Especially eHealthy
i think a lot of doctors induce because it's more convenient for them. baby will come when baby is ready!
if you prefer to wait for labor to start on its own, you should.
i had an "emergency" induction and after 14 hours of horrendous labor i ended up with a c-section. if i hadn't needed the induction i would have waited.
good luck! whatever you choose your baby will be here very soon!

Unless there's a serious health threat to you or your baby, I would strongly oppose inducing. Inducing contractions will mean that you would need an anesthetic of some type ie an epidural etc because the pain will be to an extent that was not meant naturally for your body.
