My husband is 30 years old and we have three children. He has never had any problems and has had a physical in the past month. The other day he got up from sitting in the car and he got a horrible pain from his testicle into his lower stomach and noticed that his right testicle had gone back up. You can still see it, but you can also tell it's gone up and doesn't hang like the other one. That was 2 days ago and it still has not dropped again. What is this? What happened?

His testicle has ascended into his body.
Not only is it uncomfortable, but testicles have to be a few degrees cooler than body temperature to produce healthy sperm (if any at all).

It's also not good to have a testicle inside your body, period... not only because of the pain, but because it can damage it.

I'd go to a doctor to get it properly descended.

Thanks. I'll make an appointment for him. Do you know what causes this?

There are little pockets on either side of the shaft of the penis inside the body. They can get jammed up there if the right muscles relax and tense at the same, unfortunate time. There may be other causes, but, alas, I'm not an expert.

Good luck!!!Smile
