Yeast Infection? A lot of white discharge + itchy = BV ? Posted: 10-29-07 20:23pm
Ok, I need Help,
It all started about a year ago. I
started getting a lot of white discharge
(kinda looks like sperm just a little
thicker) and a little bit itchy and very
red and irritating in my vagina. So I
went to the doctor and she said it was a
yeast infection, so I bought monistat and
it eventually went away. But ever since,
now I feel this way more often than not.
I usually feel this way a couple times a
month and it seriously affects my sex life
with my boyfriend whom i have been with
for 2 years now. Could this be BV? Could
it be std? Is it normal to have this many
yeast infections?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah. The one time I had a yeast
infection, I got the oral medication and
used that. It worked way better than messy
monistat. You need to go back to the
doctor and get that prescribed.

Anything recurring should be sent straight
to the doctor, but I can say that I've
suffered recurring infections before and
sometimes they're hard to get over. You
can also get yeast infections from foods
you eat. Certain foods encourage the
right conditions.
