It is RARE for a woman to not have a positive at her missed period. I too would say it is unlikely that this girl is pregnant.

My advice is to wait ten days and then test if your period hasn't come yet

Suzy (girlfriend) it would be better to say something like, "You are probably not pregnant" rather than giving a definite 'no'. You don't know for sure and the girl could have had false negatives or be one of those rare people who don't show up a positive test for a while.
