It's pretty easy to read what forum you're
on; it's at the top of the page. Birth
control gets a lot of attention though;
and that's normally why people post here
even off topic. I'll move it to an
appropriate forum.

Well did he feel anything while he was
working out? Did he pull something and
then he just shrugged it off, "be a man",
and continue working out like the idiots
we men are? Or was he perfectly fine
throughout the entire work out and after,
and then he felt it the next morning? Or
was there anything else between when he
worked out and noticing his pain that may
have strained his back (picking up
furniture, kids, something)? If it wasn't
something he did in between and it was the
squats, I'm going to assume he did squats
with bar bell (weights)right? I wouldn't
take it too seriously unless he is
incapable of most movement, he might have
simply overworked it or improperly warmed
up or poor form. Is your hubby one of
those big muscular guys? They tend to
never warm up and often have poor form.
Warming up properly is vital to prevent
injuries. Assuming he isn't like paralyzed
on the couch, he might have just pulled it
or something, I would tell him to take it
easy and do NOT do any back related
exercises for some time. Wait it out for
maybe 3 - 4 weeks allowing it to heal and
observe, if the pain persists even then,
THEN go to the doctor. But if it
disappears by then, tell him to still wait
a week or so even after he thinks the pain
is completely gone (just cuz pain isn't
there doesn't mean it healed completely),
he might just injure it again.
Let us know how things turn out. I would
want to know if my advice was flawed.
