Hi, im a 14 year old girl and I have back pain. I have been to my doctor and she said to have a back ex-ray, so i did. and I found out that i have a curved spine, what does this mean. what causes a curve in the spine??

I dont often stand up straight, could that have caused my curved spine? Lol it sounds soo funny. Smile

Cause of it is usually twisted pelvis ie. ilium uplift/upslip ie. sacroiliac joint subluxation.

And she thinks almost all back pains (and many other symptoms too) are a result of sacroiliac upslip and the effect it causes to body biomechanics...

In many cases it can be corrected. The sooner the better.

Other possibility is atlas subluxation:

Many times they both exist and are the cause of scoliosis.

Unfortunately medical doctors don't much know about those...
