Names.... Ahhhhhhhh!

Shane and I are having a problem liking eachother's name ideas. We just can't seem to agree on any name!

I want a name that doesn't remind me of someone else or a common name. He doesn't care an thinks Im being too picky.

I really like:

Asher James

Reese James

Sydney Bell

Annabell Germain ( We have a close friend that recently passed away named Germain and I kind of want her name to live on... it sounds really good with Annabelle I think)

He really likes:

James Timothy ( but we have a friend James and he's not someone I want to name my child after... but James is a good Middle name since we both have a grandfather that has passed away names James)

His mom and sister are really pushing Elizabeth (but thats my middle name and I never really liked it plus we know a Liz and a Beth that are super big weirdos)

AND ANOTHER PROBLEM I AM HAVING DECIDING....

Shane and I are not married or engaged or anything like that we have been together for 6 yrs now... but still not sure if we are going to eventually get married or not. What should that baby's last name be?? I want Barrett(shane's) if we are gonna eventually get married... but if we aren't I 100% want Becker(mine)... any suggestions??

I did give my daughter her father's name, we are intending to marry one day but to me it just felt right to give Mika his name (even if mine does look and sound better lol). Me and Dom never agreed on names untill i practically forced him to like Mika, plus he didn't have any say on her middle name because straight away i knew that it would be Charlotte, my sister's name

I'm not very traditional so that wasn't the reason. It just felt right to me, it seemed easier to give her his name straight away instead of changing it once we got married. I did consider a double-barreled last name for all of a second until i realised i hated double names
