Moo! How's the Little Calf? Posted: 10-29-07 08:00am
Did I read correctly that it's a boy?
Boys are great - usually much easier to
handle than girls (or is that an old wives
tale?). All I know is that Satan himself
would have thought I was a difficult child
whereas my brother was a curly haired
angel.
Feeling movements yet? Got a bump?
Ok, that's enough questions for now. I
hope you don't mind me asking, seems like
my pregnancy was an age ago and no more
sproglets for the forseeable for me.

Yup it's a boy which I'm pleased about (I
was very difficult as a child so hoping
it's not an old wives tale!) LOL
I've started feeling some movement but my
stomach is only just looking a little
tubby and not actually pregnant yet so
people just think I'm a bit fat unless
they actually know! I think I help
perpetuate that too being that I always
have some sort of snack with me!!

I went mad for oranges and flapjacks when
i was pregnant, once the sickness wore
off. I felt so sick til I was about 14
weeks that I lost weight. I could smell
EVERYTHING (even DH's nosebleed before the
blood came out) which made me feel worse.
I had to walk past a fast food van every
day to get to work and the smell of the
bacon used to make me gag. I heaved just
looking at an unopened tin
of baked beans one day. Yah, great fun.
It got better thank god!

The smell thing is very strange, it's how
someone guessed at work I was pregnant
because I kept smelling things that were
too far away to usually smell LOL

Heightened sense of smell is a pretty
important adaption during pregnancy (or
was, back in the old days when we had to
smell our food to know if it was bad or
not!)
