The PILL DOES alter the womans cycle, and she will have her period when the PILL says she will have her period. 
A womans period comes during the last week of the pills.
The pill is effective after you have taken it for 7 days, one full week.
It is unlikely that she is pregnant, but abortion is available around 5 weeks.
