...and anyone else I may have forgotten.

I have so much respect for you girls and especially your husbands, whom I don't even know that are in the military...

I was on my way to my conference this afternoon and I drove by Camp Lejueme (sp?) and all along the base entrance, there were signs everywhere on this 4 foot chain link fence. If they went on for 3 or 4 miles, I wouldn't be suprised. I was so taken back from those welcome home signs, I started crying uncontrollably while I was driving.

I just can't imagine what you girls are going through and when I saw that earlier, I just had to say that to you girls...You go through so much, and I just hope you know how much that means to me and I can only imagine what it means to so many other people.

I know. I could not imagine going through that. We just found out that my step-brother, Kenny joined the bomb squad. He leaves for Iraq in March.

Diane, that is such a good idea. Thats what these signs were, like sheets and big pieces of poster board with spray paint. It looked as if some people had taken the time to welcome home everyone...you could tell that some were done by the same people. That makes me sad to think that they might not have had anyone to come home to. Just the idea makes me teary eyed.

Laura, my name's Heather... It seems weird to here myself refered to as Star!!!

These poor men that have to leave their families for such long periods of time......it just isn't fair. Not only are they in constant fear for their own lives while they are gone but they also have to worry about the wives and children that they leave behind. Man I count my blessings everyday that I am not in that situation, and I honestly feel so bad for all the people that are. They are truly special and unselfish people! Smile

Yeah that Tim McGraw song gets me too.

Danni, so are you coming up to Camp Leguene? I only live about 2 hours from there.

Did anyone see the news about the college kids who died in the fire? That is my county. So sad
