I got scenario like this, my wife got monthly period around 21-22nd day of the month, her last mens was September 21-23 as per her. we got contact on October 2, 2007 & use the withdrawal method. This month of October expect to be 21 or 22nd mens to be arrive now its 9 days delayed. She got this symptoms on our 1st baby. As I notice she got lately stress due to drinking & late sleeping habit, now shes more worried cause of the delay.

My question is that day October 2, is safe to avoid pregnant? Please advise as of now im worried also.

attached screenie Ovulation Calendar Method.

hope you hear soon as i really bothers me more..

regards,

There is no 'safe' day to have sex. If you don't want to get pregnant, you need to use some form of protection (withdrawal doesn't count as protection) or you could get pregnant.

The calender method is not a way to prevent pregnancy. It is only meant to be used by couples who are trying to get pregnant or a woman who has a lot of time and energy to devote to monitoring her cycle every day. You can't rely on it to not get pregnant.

So, yes, your wife could be pregnant. Have her take a test. I would suggest she stops drinking until she finds out if she's pregnant.

The withdrawal method does NOT count as protection. She can still get pregnant, even if you pull out before you ejaculate. She can very well be pregnant. There can be sperm in your pre-ejaculate. Any time a penis is in a vagina, there is a risk of pregnancy.
