Q: Would HPT be accurate if I took out Nuva Ring?

So My bf is deployed to Iraq till July 2008. Im waiting patiently....however he just came home for his R&R of two wks and well...to put it plainly condoms were the last thing on our minds. I forgot to put my nuva ring back in for 9 hours, and then again for like two days! So now I havent really had a reall flow. I spotted like brown dishcharge and then nothing. So right now Im debating that if in fact i could take a HPT would it be accurate.

Last period ended: Sept 22nd
He came home: Sept 20th
Forgot my ring: Sept 24 and October 7
Discharge started October: 16th ended like the next day

My boobs are a wee bit tender, and i just dont know. Im going in for a blood test next week but I kind of want to be prepared for the result.
Any comments would be SUPER GREAT!

i dont know
it could be

you could take one though

if your last period was sep 22nd then it could be acurate now
but sperm can live in you for 5 days
so ugh i have no idea lol

i know...lol I want to take one but who knows. i think i might just do it. I have the extra cash so. Plus my doc said I have to wait till Im two wks late or have a positive preg test to get a blood test done so yeah

lol your dr is crazy why would he make you wait? thats stupid

yeah i went in last wk and he was like, well you need to wait if your not that late. so now Im just kind of sitting around waiting! So I go in like tuesday thats when Im a full two wks (almost) lol late. He doesnt know that so why not.

I just need to find this out bc my soldier is going crazy not knowing and so am i. He wants to be here for the whole thing but if i am hell get here either right as i deliver or right after.

ah ive got to be so broken its ridiculous! Lol

I took it and i got a wacked out reading the control window didnt show up so I have to take the other one tomorrow...but the plus and minus sign only came up and the entire window turned purple so I broke it lol!

I read them like three times. and i took it...and i let it sit the neg sign cam up and then the whole screen went purple adn the control window never did anything so the instrucutions said it was a false reading and I have to re take it... Boo patients sucks lol

Yeah, I'm the most impatient person in the world. I took about eight pregnancy tests within a month because when it came up negative I got really upset and kept trying. It was basically a waste of money, but it's just how I am.

so i took two tests bc i somehow broke the first one lol. So im not pregnant and I just assume it for the better because robby wants to be here for the entire thing day one to birth. So we are going to wait now and move in with eachother when he comes home from iraq! July doesnt seem that far!
