Q: When's best time to use OPKs after menstrual " period " ?

so this month deffo wasn't my month. I have had continous light bleeding and i am going to assume it is my period as i did a first response test yesterday and got BFN.

It figures that my period would be really light cause my lining of my womb was thinner with the coil and might take a while to build back up.

if it is a period then that is good news to me as it means my cycle may be getting on track and i might ovulate soon.

when is the best time to start using OPKs again after this "period"? it will purely be to just check if i am ovulating as robbie is away now til 17th december

How long are your cycles typically? Mine are mostly in the 24-27 day range and I start using opks around cd 9-11 depending on when I start getting cm. I hope this helps.

i honestly have no idea because apart from 2 periods in between I haven't had a period since april 2004! Shocked

Becky, I know you said you didn't want to chart and temp and just go with the flow, but I really recommend that you try it while Robbie is gone. It will give you a good idea of what your body is doing.

I usually start testing with opk around cd 9 or so. I usually ovulate around cd 13 or so.
