Q: Husband Hospitalized W/inflamed Colon.

Scan shows no blood flow to inflamed colon. Appendix is fine. Severe Diarrhea, can only hold water down, fever 101 just broke after medication, lower abdominal pain. What could this be? Doctors have no answers yet.

no blood flow to an inflamed colon sounds like ischemic colitis....my husband had a subtotal colectomy this year because of the same thing!!
